Asake studied acting at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. She started releasing her songs in 2018. His career began in 2020 with the single “Mr. Money” followed by a remix by Zlatan and Peruzzi. In February 2022, fellow Nigerian artist Olamide Asake signed to his own label, YBNL Records. In the same month, he released his debut extended track “Orade” which included the groundbreaking song “Omo Ope” featuring Olamide. The second single from the EP, ‘Sungba‘, was remixed a month later with a verse by Nigerian superstar Burna Boy. In July 2022, Asake signed a distribution deal with Empire.
