Atiku Abubakar, former vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and fans protested at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja on Monday.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership conducted a ‘black uniform’ protest against the election results on Monday.
They all marched on the INEC headquarters in black to demand that the election, which resulted in the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Tinubu, being declared the victor, be canceled.
Together with Atiku, the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu; the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, and other party officials led the protest.
Because of the large crowd, security employees were forced to lock the gate.
