Ayo Makun, a well-known comedian from Nigeria also known by his stage as AY, is happy with his most recent achievement.

Having been invited to the UN’s political conference on sustainable development in New York, a father of two from the UK expressed his joy at the invitation.

He announced that his movie Almajiri had received 27 nominations to spread the good news.

For the heads of state, he planned to screen the movie in the UK.

H also thanked the CEO and founder of the Southern Africa Embrace Foundation for the chance. He declared:

PARTICIPATING IN THE HIGH-LEVEL POLITICAL FORUM ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AT THE UNITED NATIONS IN NEW YORK WAS A GOOD IDEA.

I’M ALSO REALLY EXCITED ABOUT #ALMAJIRITHEMOVIE’S 27 NOMINATIONS. HOPEFULLY, AFTER SCREENING THE MOVIE TO SOME OF THE WORLD LEADERS HERE, THIS WILL BE ANOTHER SITUATION TO CONSIDER. THANK YOU TO THE UN AND @IAMSINDYZEMURA, THE CEO AND FOUNDER OF THE SOUTHERN AFRICA EMPOWER FOUNDATION, FOR THE OPPORTUNITY.
