“Bank gave me coins” – A Nigerian man claims he was given coins when he went to withdraw $5,000 from a bank.
A Nigerian man was enraged after going to a bank to withdraw money and instead receiving coins.
According to him, he went to an undisclosed bank to withdraw 5,000, but instead received two naira coins to make up the difference.
In his words:
“I go bank oh, I go Bank. they go give me ₦5,000 of naira coins. Egba mi”, he lamented.
Reacting to his post, a lot of netizens faulted the bank’s action while others demanded that the bank continues giving coins in place of the old 50 notes they’ve been giving to some people.
