Nigerian music master, Burna Boy has made the rounds on social media for his ‘Lagos Loves Damini’ concert in Lagos.
The Grammy-winning artist was scheduled to perform at the ‘Lagos Loves Damini’ concert on New Year’s Day, with the cheapest ticket costing N30,000.

Prior to this, the show was supposed to begin at 8 p.m., but many music fans who arrived at the venue saw the technical crew still setting up, and the show did not begin until several hours later.

Burna Boy humiliated fans by cursing them after they complained about his late arrival at the Lagos concert for the cross-over night into the new year. Burna Boy told his fans that he still loves them and admitted that if it hadn’t been for another music star, Seyi Vibez, he would have left the venue and gone home.

Furthermore, he accused concertgoers of labeling him a murderer following a shooting incident between the singer and a newlywed couple at Obi Cubana’s club in Lagos last year, as well as mocking his mother for being Fela Kuti’s dancer, before telling them, “I still love you, na God go punish you!”

Burna Boy opened his performance with a famous line from his hit collaboration with Nigerian music sensation, Asake, after delivering what was essentially an anathema to his long-suffering fans.

He also took his fans on a journey through his timeless hit songs, and they sang along with joy.

While he was performing, fans began to leave the venue one by one.

The singer performed his international smash hit ‘Last Last,’ and the popular street anthem ended the show.
