Burna Boy, the Nigerian megastar, has taken another giant step forward, with his hit single ‘Last Last’ selling over a million units in the United States.
According to Chart Data, a reputable chart news platform, Burna Boy has just become the first Nigerian artist to receive two RIAA platinum plaques as a lead artist.

This comes after Burna’s ‘Last Last’ received an RIAA platinum plaque after selling over a million copies in the United States.
The hit single was released as one of the lead singles from Burna Boy’s sixth album, ‘Love, Damini,’ in 2022. The single quickly became an international smash hit, peaking at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100.
‘Last Last’ has sold over a million units in the United States, putting Burna Boy on track for his second RIAA platinum plaque after his 2018 smash hit, ‘YE’.
