Grammy-winning musician and well-known in the music industry, Burna Boy,has responded to the passing of football legend Pele.

According to reports, Pele, a legendary player in Brazilian football, spent his final days in the hospital at Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein Israelita Hospital before Christmas. He was 82 years old.

The three-time World Cup champion reportedly battled cardiac problems and other illnesses up until his departure.

Brazilian soccer legend Pelé, who won a record-tying three World Cups and served as the face of “the beautiful game,” passed away at the age of 82, according to the statement.

Reacting to the death of Pele, Burna Boy took to his social media page to write, “RIP Pele. A man with a strong legacy that will be remembered FOREVER. Legends Never Die they are always Remembered in the hearts of the People.”
