The youngest son of an Afrobeat pioneer, Seun Kuti, inherited his father’s fame in the Nigerian police force after he assaulted and slapped a police officer on duty.

However, as the case continues to heat up, the Lagos State Police have ordered his immediate arrest.

A viral video by Suun Kuti captures the startling moment when the singer angrily harasses and beats a speechless police officer.

Concerned civilians intervened in the story, voicing negative and positive opinions about Sewoon, who could not resist the pressure and raised his voice.

Seun said her anger escalated when the attacking police officer threatened to kill her family. He further explained that he had evidence to support his plea.

His words:

“He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof but I no dey chase clout. He has apologised and I have agreed not to press charges. Make una mind una business make the poor guy no lose him job”

Hours after learning that the Nigerian Police force has ordered his immediate arrest, he publicly accepted their approach adding to the heated view of the saga.
