According to reports, Blessing Nkiru Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, a social media influencer, was detained by the Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Police Force.
On Thursday, a video that appeared on social media showed the CEO of Blessing being brought into a car by officers. She was reportedly detained for her suspected involvement in the legal issue involving late Bimbo Ogbonna, the late wife of famed auto trader IVD, and Ikechukwu Ogbonna.
According to reports, the contentious relationship therapist was detained after allegedly refusing to show up in court.
According to Naija News, Bimbo was the woman who passed away after suffering burns from a fire that broke out at their Megamound Estate home.
Sister of Bimbo said that she had passed away as a result of domestic abuse. Yet according to Blessing, who identified herself as Ogbonna’s relationship therapist, the deceased was aggressive and suicidal.
The policemen involved are from Force CID in Abuja, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, who told the Daily Post on Friday that he was unable to confirm the arrest of Blessing CEO.
But, Naija News learns that the Force Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has not yet released a statement to confirm the arrest.
