Liverpool has completed the signing of Alexis MacAllister from Brighton for an initial fee of £45 million.
After passing a medical earlier this week, the 24-year-old Argentina international has signed a five-year contract with the Reds until 2028. Liverpool has agreed to pay Brighton an initial cut-price cost of between £45-50 million, which might be increased by performance-related add-ons, according to Mirror Football.
The midfielder said: “It feels amazing. It’s a dream come true, it’s amazing to be here and I can’t wait to get started. I wanted to be in [from] the first day of pre-season, so it’s good that everything is done. I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates.
