Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has explained why she had a public spat with Omolara Olukotun, a Lagos businesswoman known as Larrit.

Larrit had repeatedly abused Aigbe on social media, despite the fact that she had previously patronized her business and vice versa.

Recall that the dispute occurred on Sunday at a star-studded gathering attended by Nollywood actresses such as Eniola Ajao, Bimbo Thomas, and Iyabo Ojo.

Aigbe and Larrit were seen in videos circulating on the Internet arguing, which escalated after the businesswoman threw a bottle at the actress.

Aigbe was eventually hauled out of the event by police officers amid a mob.

She described what happened at the event in a post on her Instagram stories on Monday.

“I was there to celebrate a friend’s store opening (@rhemmygold).” “One of the attendees was Larrit,” Aigbe stated.

“For reasons unknown to her, this woman slanders me online at every opportunity.” She’s done a lot of live videos and social media posts to this effect. I attempted to contact her to learn more about the problems, but she chose to disregard me.

“I’m acquainted with Lara. I have supported her business, and she has reciprocated. So I was taken aback and perplexed by her rapid transformation into an adversary. I sent her WhatsApp messages and called a few of her friends to try to figure out why she chose to become an enemy, but all of my attempts were futile.”
