Nigerians are pressuring the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, to become president because of the financial benefits involved, according to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
According to Naija News, Obi made this statement while speaking with Nigerians recently in Belgium.

The leader of the opposition party (LP) charged Nigerians with pushing for Tinubu’s presidency despite being aware of his illness in a video posted by Njenje Media TV on YouTube on Saturday.

“Once he comes here and gives you money, even when the man is ill, you will say Jagaban is the best candidate,” he asserted. That is the country’s issue.

“Someone told me that this candidate battled the Abacha regime to remain in power. that he even suffered a total loss. But he now has two planes, I countered. Where is his business?

“My brother, there is an emergency.”

The former governor of Anambra State continued by pleading with Nigerians to seize control of their nation and install a leader they can question.

“I’m pleading with all of us because of this. Let’s go and retake our nation, running it like any other where the ruler is accountable to the populace. The populace has the right to criticize their leader’s misdeeds and conduct. In our system, bad behavior has evolved into a yardstick for success, he continued.

Tinubu’s Wellness
According to Naija News, Nigerians have been worried about the former governor of Lagos state’s health.

A photo of Tinubu’s shirt being soaked from behind circulated on social media in February.

The APC, however, claimed that it was a doctored image made by Jagban’s adversaries to harm his presidential aspirations.

Additionally, Tinubu has asserted that he is not physically strong enough to lead the nation.
