Adelana Adekunle Solomon, popularly known as Oba Solomon, has stated that any presidential candidate considering going to court against the All Progressives Congress (APC) is wasting their time.
His remarks come after the APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared president-elect.

Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), announced Tinubu’s victory in the early hours of Wednesday at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.

“That Tinubu Bola Ahmed of the APC, having satisfied the legal requirements, is hereby declared the winner and is re-elected,” Mahmood declared.

Tinubu received the most votes in 12 of Nigeria’s 36 states, as well as significant numbers in several other states, to claim the most votes; 8,794,726.

In response to some parties’ decision to challenge the outcome, Oba Solomon stated that the ruling party cannot lose a court case because it has a stronghold on Nigeria.

The popular Yoruba-speaking social media cleric stated that the solution is to take the matter to the deities, Sango or Ayelala.

“Taking them to court is a complete waste of time,” he said. “If you have a problem with them, the best solution is to report APC to Ayelala or Sango.”
