As his hit single “Calm Down” reaches a new peak, Nigerian superstar Rema is continuing to rise, as evidenced by the most recent Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The remix of “Calm Down” with Selena Gomez debuts on the chart at No. 25, two spots higher than its previous position of No. 27 in the week of February 23rd, 2023. ‘Calm Down’ has been on the chart for 27 weeks and has now surpassed Wizkid’s ‘Essence,’ which peaked at No. 9 thanks to the popularity of the Justin Bieber remix, to become the second-highest Afrobeats song.

Tems also makes an appearance on the chart with Future’s song “Wait For U,” which continues to hold the No. 36 spot after 39 weeks on the top.
