Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United and Arsene Wenger of Arsenal have been admitted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Ferguson, 81, is the most successful Premier League manager in history, having won a remarkable 13 titles.

During his 22-year tenure as Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger earned three Premier League titles. In 2003-04, the Frenchman guided Arsenal’s “Invincibles” to an unbeaten league title.

Ferguson and Wenger are the first two managers admitted into the Football Hall of Fame.

“It’s an honor to be recognized in this way,” he said. “However, it’s not just about me as an individual,” Ferguson stated.

“It’s about my job at Manchester United and the bond we’ve built over the years, so I’m also proud of the club, the staff, and my players.”

“It was my responsibility to send the fans home happy.” The history of United and my own aspirations were what drove me.”

Wenger, 73, joined the Premier League as one of the league’s first international managers in 1996. In his first complete season at Arsenal, he won the league.

“I’d like to be remembered as someone who loved Arsenal, respected its values, and left it in a position to grow and become even bigger,” Wenger said.

“It is an honor for me to share this with Sir Alex.” It’s like two fighters fighting furiously and going the distance together.

“At the end of the day, you have respect for him, and it will be a great opportunity to meet with him, share a good bottle of wine, and talk about our old battles.”
