“Social media can say BURNA BOY started Boko Haram, but e no go shock me,” said Burna Boy after the club shooting event.

After reports of a man being shot by the artiste’s police escort, Grammy award-winning vocalist and Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has finally broken his silence.

GISTLOVER reports that a police officer affiliated with Burna Boy shot two people at Club Cubana in Lagos State a few days ago.

Trouble reportedly began when the self-proclaimed African Giant, who was in the VIP section, urged a woman to join him. The lady’s husband, on the other hand, is reported to have slammed the singer, escalating the situation.

“As things heated up, Ibrahim pulled out his service revolver and fired multiple shots while Burna Boy laughed,” a senior police source said.

Burna was believed to have flown out to Spain less than 24 hours after the five police escorts were arrested.

The ‘Tonight’ singer claimed on Twitter on Wednesday that the social media landscape in Nigeria does not surprise him.

“NIGERIAN SOCIAL MEDIA CAN SAY BURNA BOY STARTED BOKO HARAM, E NO GO SHOCK ME,” HE WROTE.
