‘Take Your Anger To Polls’ – Peter Obi Charges Nigerians As Violence Erupts Across The Nation Over Naira Scarcity

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has urged Nigerians to vote in protest of the country’s persistent Naira scarcity.
On Wednesday, there were violent protests in Oyo, Edo, and Delta states over the scarcity of the redesigned Naira, according to Naija News.

Angry protesters set fire to banks and other properties, resulting in the loss of lives and property.

Residents in those affected areas are also fearful and are required to remain in their homes for the time being in order to reduce the number of casualties.

In response to the development, the former Anambra Governor pleaded for calm, noting that he understands the suffering and harsh economic realities brought on by the recent cash shortage.
