Buck’s departure from Chelsea was announced earlier this month, with the date set for June 30.
Buck will now serve as a Senior Advisor to Chelsea, providing assistance and advice.
Chelsea’s men’s squad won 18 major trophies during his tenure (more than any other English club), while Chelsea’s women’s team won 12 major trophies.
Boehly reacted by thanking Buck for his devotion and dedication to Chelsea.
“Bruce has guided Chelsea Football Club to the highest levels of international and domestic football, while simultaneously building one of the most active social responsibility programmes in sport,” he said on the club’s official website.
