Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known by her stage as Ayra Starr, a rapidly rising singer, composer, and dancer, has admitted that when she created the song Rush, she didn’t feel good about herself.
Despite growing up as a self-assured person, the 19-year-old singer admitted in an interview that she gave in while penning “Rush.”
The song was born out of her desire to unapologetically discover who she was because she was unsure of herself.
