Nigerian singer Oludipe Olwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, said his controversial colleague Portable was the only artist he never wanted to work with.

According to him, their musical styles are so different that even if Portable wrote a song for him, he wouldn’t be able to perform it well.

The Who’s Your Guy crooner opened up about this in a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos.

Asked who he would never write a song for, Spyro said:

“Not because I have an issue with him, but because our paths just don’t cross, like, our kinds of music don’t align. Portable, I guess.

“It can’t work. He wouldn’t be able to deliver the kind of music that I would write for him because it’s not his tier.”

He, however, said Portable is a good singer.
